Whoever is shooting dogs in Socorro county is a danger to dogs and the entire community. 

Socorro County, NM—Between December 1, 2011 and January 23, 2012, at least eight dogs were shot within a three to four mile area of Socorro County that includes Lemitar and Polvadera. Nearly all the dogs were on their owners’ property when shot, and seven of the dogs died or had to be humanely euthanized because of their injuries. At least three of these dogs suffered before their deaths.
